Lance Wyman (1937–) is an American New York-based graphic designer who has studied in various U.S. states as well as Mexico City, Mexico, where he stayed for approximately four years. He is famously known for his designs of modern Mexico, specifically his work for the 1968 Summer Olympic Games held there. After the event, he continued to stay and work in the country, including designing the logos for the World Cup 70,  La Moderna, Penoles, and more. Lance Wyman Mexico presents a collection of his work.

The front cover design references the Mexico Olympics ‘68 identity logo, designed by Wyman in 1966 after he was chosen for his proposed logo. The logo was designed around the five Olympic rings and inspired by Mexican art, specifically the use of multiline patterns. The bicolor palette also resembles the Games’ identity design. The cover uses the font Mexico Olympic, also known as Mexico 68.

The back cover shows elements from Lance Wyman’s designs for Mexico’s Metro identity and icon system, including the logo and train illustrations.
